Alice, Cat Lady
Holder of Advanced Award Certificate of Feline Behaviour (with Distinction), COAPE, she has been a volunteer at DSPCA since 2008. She has also participated in the Association of Dogs and Cats Homes Conference (ADCH Conference) 2009, the Animal CSI Workshop 2009 and ADCH Conference 2010 which took place at University College Dublin and Jersey, UK., respectively. Member of Pet Sitters International, she complies with the Code of Ethic and Conduct set up by the internationally recognized Professional Pet Sitters Association.
Alice also has a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies, specialized in French Language, Culture & Civilization. She has done research on "Globalization And It's Effects On French Culture". In her past life, she worked as Executive Officer for the Hong Kong Government, Logistic Manager for a trading company in Paris and Personal Assistant for a bank in Dublin.
Having years of experience living with cats, she can't seem to get enough of them! She is currently part of the foster family team of the DSPCA, taking care of cats in her home before they are ready to be rehomed.
Crazy about cats, she has moved from Hong Kong to Paris, then to Dublin with her current cat of 9 years.
She is trained in feline first-aid and Garda cleared.
